It can be caused by the everyday pressures of balancing family and work or by traumatic situations. In order to begin managing chronic stress, we must understand what it is, what may be causing it and how it affects our entire body. What Is Chronic Stress? Chronic stress results from a state of ongoing physiological arousal. This occurs when the body experiences stressors with such frequency or intensity that the autonomic nervous system does not have an adequate chance to activate the relaxation response on a regular basis. This means that the body remains in a constant state of physiological arousal. It affects virtually every system in the body, either directly or indirectly. We were built to handle acute stress, which is short-lived, but not chronic stress, which is steady over a long period of time. Causes This type of chronic stress response occurs all too frequently from our modern lifestyle. Everything from high-pressured jobs to loneliness to busy traffic can keep the body in a state of the perceived threat and chronic stress. In this case, our fight-or-flight response, which was designed to help us fight a few life-threatening situations spaced out over a long period (like being attacked by a bear every so often), can wear down our bodies and cause us to become ill, either physically or emotionally. In fact, it’s estimated that up to 90% of doctor’s visits are for conditions in which stress plays a role! Thats why it is so important to learn stress management techniques and make healthy lifestyle changes to safeguard yourself from the negative impact of chronic stress. Examples of Acute vs. Chronic Stress There are many life events that cause both acute and chronic stress. To put the two into perspective, here are a few examples. Acute Stress Is Short-Term Acute stress can occur when you get into a car accident. You not only have to deal with police reports, insurance companies and assessing the damage to yourself and your car, but you need to find out how to get to work the next day. Most of these problems will be worked out within a week (maybe as long as a month) and shortly after the accident, your initial stress is relieved because the situation is under control. At least you are safe! Another example is when you are working on an important project for work. You put in long hours and have a tight and looming deadline. This can cause many stressful days as you fine-tune all of the details. However, once the project is submitted, you can relax. In this case, your stress may have actually helped you perform better because not all stress is bad. Chronic Stress Is Long-Term On the other hand, if your family is struggling financially or with a severe illness, the stress can become chronic. Someone in your home may not be able to work, bills are piling up and your home is nearing foreclosure and this can leave you stressed for months or even a year or more. Your constant worry wears down your body, making you feel tired and anxious. You may be working harder than ever to make ends meet and make unhealthy choices about food and exercise, which can make you feel even worse. This can lead to serious depression among other health concerns. We can also have chronic stress related to work. Many jobs require a lot out from us and it can often feel like you never get a break or are always under pressure to perform. Working overtime, constant travel and high-pressure business relations can keep your body in a constant state of excitement, even when you get home to your family. This can also add to the wear and tear on your body and continuous stress can contribute to serious health issues like heart disease or lead to a heart attack. If You Are Experiencing Chronic Stress It is important to begin using stress management techniques as early as possible when you recognize chronic stress in your life. This works for a few reasons. Fast-acting stress relievers can reverse the stress response so your body has a chance to recover and your mind has a chance to approach problems from a proactive stance rather than to react from a stressed or even panicked perspective. When youre making choices from a more relaxed and confident place, you tend to make choices that are more in-line with your best interests and avoid creating more stress for yourself. Longer-term healthy habits can also be important to implement because they can build resilience and give you chances to take a break from stress on a regular basis.  This can help you to keep from staying stressed so constantly that you dont realize how stressed you are, which can keep you from taking steps to reduce the stress in your life. It can also save you from the more negative effects of chronic stress. Para trabajar legalmente en Estados Unidos es requisito tener uno de los varios documentos que lo permiten. Obviamente, los ciudadanos de los EE.UU. pueden trabajar, pero tambià ©n los titulares de las tarjetas de residencia permanente, conocida como green card, o los migrantes en situaciones especiales que les permiten solicitar un permiso de trabajo como, por ejemplo, asilados, muchachos con DACA o extranjeros en proceso de ajuste de estatus. Pero tambià ©n existe la posibilidad de tener una visa que autorice a trabajar por un periodo de tiempo determinado. Para obtener una de dichas visas es necesario que el perfil del trabajador extranjero se ajuste a las caracterà ­sticas del visado y que el trabajador encuentre empresa dispuesta a patrocinarlo. Ademà ¡s, es imprescindible que la empresa inicie los trà ¡mites En la mayorà ­a de los casos eso implica un proceso ante el Departamento de Trabajo y el Servicio de Inmigracià ³n y Naturalizacià ³n (USCIS, por sus siglas en inglà ©s). Cà ³mo encontrar patrocinador para visa trabajo en EE.UU. Sin una empresa estadounidense que actà ºe como patrocinadora, no hay visa de trabajo. Sin embargo, ninguna persona extranjera puede ingresar a EE.UU. con la intencià ³n de buscar trabajo. Por lo tanto, es complicado el proceso de obtener patrocinador. Trà ¡mites para una visa de trabajo y costo para empresa La empresa debe seguir un trà ¡mite burocrà ¡tico que puede ser complicado para patrocinar, de ahà ­ que muchas veces se recurra a una agencia o a un bufete de abogados especialista en este tipo de gestiones. En algunos casos, como por ejemplo en el de la H-1B para profesionales y modelos es preciso realizar un paso previo antes de contactar con las autoridades de inmigracià ³n: pedir una Aplicacià ³n de Certificacià ³n Laboral al Departamento de Trabajo. La empresa patrocinadora debe rellenar y enviar al USCIS la planilla I-129 y pagar la tarifa correspondiente. Una excepcià ³n a esta regla son  las visas C1/D de tripulacià ³n—todo tipo de trabajadores—para trabajar en cruceros es suficiente que la naviera extienda un contrato de trabajo y envà ­e una carta oficial al tripulante para que pueda solicitar visa en el consulado. Si la solicitud de visa es aprobada por el USCIS, a continuacià ³n se empieza a gestionar la visa para el trabajador extranjero solicità ¡ndola al consulado correspondiente. La solicitud puede ser negada en cualquier momento de su tramitacià ³n si faltan documentos, si el trabajador no cumple con los requisitos de la visa o si à ©ste es inadmisible para ingresar a Estados Unidos. The first part is ontological, for modernism ontology lies in its core of objectivism. Modernist perspective is based on the philosophy that the presence of exterior realism does not depend on our acquaintance about it. While the symbol interpretive ontology relies on subjectivism. It trusts that one is incapable of knowing an exterior or objective presence other than the subjective consciousness about it that one already possesses. The second part is epistemology, which is positivism for the modernism perspective. It trusts in the certainty concluded by effective conceptualization and dependable measurement to assess knowledge. The knowledge accrues, permitting humans to grow and advance. However, in symbol interpretive, certainty is comparative to time and place and the persons finding that meaning. The third part is t heory assumptions, where modernism theory aims to discover regulations which are universal and applicable to every situation. Whereas, symbol interpretive theory tells that people put in efforts to give order and meaning to their knowledge within precise backgrounds. Finally, the fourth part, method of modernism, grounded upon arithmetical means to determine the association among the proposition and the practical world. Since the functions applicability is situational hence it comes to the discretion and knowledge of the managers and leaders of the organisation to choose the correct perspective at correct time to work out the best possible solution for the company in the present as well as for its sustainability in the long run. They must also ensure the sustainability aspect of the environment in which the company operates, since the organisation cannot thrive in success in isolation. Senator Dale Bumpers

Introduction Dale Bumpers was born in 1925 and brought up in Charleston, Arkansas. Before passing away, the senior Bumpers had served a one term as a state legislator. From a young age, the senior Bumpers taught his son that being elected in to a political office was the biggest achievement that a man could have. This must have been the young man’s motivation for his political career later on in life. (Worrell 1) As a young boy, Dale Bumpers spent his life within Arkansas. He attended public schools within his hometown and even went to the University of Arkansas where he got his undergraduate. Finally, he attended the Northwestern University Law School in Chicago where he attained his graduate degree in law. Before joining the University for his Graduate Degree in law, Bumpers first had a brief stint in the U.S. military. During World War II, that lasted from 1943-1946, he served in the American Marine Corps. During his university days, Bumpers became a great admirer of Democratic politics especially those of its presidential candidate Aldai Ewing Stevenson. Bumpers completed his law degree in 1952 and was admitted into the Arkansas bar the same year. In the same year, he became the Charleston city attorney a position he held until 1970. His experience as the Charleston attorney inspired him to write an autobiography The Best Lawyer in a One-Lawyer Town: A Memoir that was published in 2003. (Bumpers 8) Although Bumpers had long been interested in poli tics, he had not made his political ambitions explicit. However, this changed in 1970 when he suddenly announced his interest for the governorship seat on a Democratic part ticket. However, some thought this to be impossible as he had to battle for the nomination with other established candidates led by a former Governor Orval Faubus and Joe Purcell who was the then Attorney General among others. Although he was a newcomer with no big name to his cap, he won the people’s heart with his rich spoken language and personal charisma. When the general election finally came, Bumpers emerged victorious o ver Winthrop Rockefeller the then serving Republican Governor. His election as the governor marked his long political career in the United States. He was reelected as the governor in 1972 again defeating a serious pool of both Democratic and Republican contenders. This was a position that Bumpers would hold for four consecutive terms until his retirement in 1998. In 1974, he won against John Harris Jones and in 1980 he defeated William Clark who was a Democratic turned Republican. In the 1986 elections Bumpers was able to retain his seat by defeating Asa Hutchinson a trend that he maintained in 1992 when he trounced future Governor Mike Huckabee. In 1998, he was ineligible for reelection having served the maximum four terms and he retired gracefully from elective office. (Blair 72) As a f ederal government official, Bumpers chaired many committees, which were mandated with bettering the welfare of the American people. This included chairing the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, which was mandated with raising the standards of small business people in America. Before his retirement, he also served as a junior member of a committee tasked with looking into Energy and Natural Resources affairs. After his retirement, Bumpers helped his long time friend and the then President Bill Clinton escape an impeachment trial against him. This led to the establishment of the Dale and Betty Bumpers Vaccine Research Center that seeks to further research in vaccine growth. Today, Dale Bumpers is regarded as one of the greatest American senators who are still alive.
